Diverse Music inspired me during the creation of The Bearton Bears

Two great pieces of music have been spinning around in my head for some time now since starting to write The Bearton Bears. The first, John Philip Sousa's March; Kansas Wildcats, just seems to sum up the flavour of the Bearton serial so well for me.

The second is one of my old favourite pieces of dance music. It always reminds me to ask myself the question "How U Like Bears?" Not that this is the exact lyric featured in this Norman Bass chaotic work of genius. If... if only The Bearton Bears made it into the movies I'd love this to accompany the end credits. Perhaps with the Beartons dancing madly up on the cliff at sunset. One day maybe...
