I have been working for a couple of years on my Bearton Bears project and have completed the writing of the five novel-length episodes. The first: The Bearton Bears Episode 1 Eddie Upside Down is available now on Amazon in Kindle and paperback formats.
The other episodes are in final edit and will be available soon. If you like bear stories then here is a bear story of epic proportions for you and what's more it is aimed at an adult audience.
There is a strong theme of self-improvement throughout the serial although they have so much more besides to offer.

An Epic Bear Story in Five Parts, for Grownups.
Life is easy when you live it the hard way. But the opposite is also true as stuck in his ways Bearton Bear, Eddie is about to discover. There is no standing still in life for long. You’re on your way up or you're on your way down and life is about to pull the cosy rug out from under our hero's previously comfortable paws, turning him upside down.
Amiable “Mr Nice Bear,” Eddie has been stuck in a rut for too long. Now he will need to develop extra levels of self-discipline and reach out to his friends. An ex-army major, an academic, the vice president of the Hacklebacks Motorcycle Club, and a host of other disparate characters all rally to support the bear that they see as part of the family.
With further help from Monty Goodbear the psychotherapist, Eddie will need to step up to the plate and conquer the enemy within.
But his challenges have only just begun, and soon he will fall foul of the town magnates, his employers, the evil Viles family. Out of the frying pan and into the fire.
Often funny, sometimes sad, sometimes perhaps a little scary, here’s a bear story that you can get your teeth into.
If you already have an inner cub, like Eddie you'll be at home with him and his friends in Bearton on Sea. If not, then maybe you will find yours between the covers of the Bearton Bears.
